ATHENRY ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL CLUB GARDA VETTING

Garda vetting is a FAI Regulation for all those working with children and or vulnerable persons (in a paid or voluntary capacity). Please see FAI Handbook Section 3 Regulations 12.3 and 12.4 and the FAI Child Welfare & Safeguarding Policy section 10 for more information. If you are not Garda vetted through the FAI, you should not undertake any work in a paid or voluntary capacity with children or vulnerable persons in football.

To apply for your Garda Vetting you need to complete two forms. 

ID Validation Form
Vetting Invitation Form 

Both forms are available on the FAI website at the button link below. 

The two forms must be submitted together with a copy of your ID (Passport or drivers licence) and proof of address. (Up to date statement or utility bill, less than six months old) 

Note the ID Validation Form must be signed by any of the following: Club Child Welfare Officer, Garda, Secretary or Club Chairman.
